Trust and method
How Tilelico produces and checks its guides.
Our guides explain the reasoning behind a layout, not just the result. This page documents how examples, technical claims and corrections are handled.
One source of figures
Worked examples use one saved Tilelico project or one explicitly described calculation. We do not combine attractive figures from unrelated scenarios.
Geometry before percentages
Whole elements, cut positions, cut pieces, source tiles, waste and job allowance are kept separate. A percentage never replaces the actual grid.
Technical references
Installation statements are checked against applicable professional references and manufacturer documentation. Product data always overrides a generic example.
Human-readable limits
Every guide says what the calculation can establish and what still requires an on-site survey, substrate inspection or qualified installer.
Corrections stay visible
When an example changes, its review date changes with it. Readers can report an error from the contact page.
What is actually verified
- Arithmetic, units and internal consistency of every worked example.
- Reciprocal French/English URLs, internal links and page metadata.
- The distinction between design assistance and installation requirements.
- Automated tests that prevent missing guides, broken related links and known counting errors.
