Terms of use

What Tilelico provides, what it does not guarantee, and the rules governing its use.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

1. Service publisher

Tilelico is published by Quentin Varlet, an individual (personne physique). Publication director: Quentin Varlet.

Questions may be sent to contact@tilelico.com.

2. Purpose of the service

Tilelico is a floor-covering layout preparation tool. It describes a room, flooring and laying pattern, then produces a laying plan, quantities and job-site documents.

The free browser version can be used without creating an account.

3. Nature of the results

Plans, quantities, cuts, setting-out dimensions and supply estimates are preparation aids calculated only from the information entered by the user.

They do not replace an on-site survey, professional advice or manufacturer instructions. The user remains responsible for checking dimensions and installation compliance.

Tilelico does not guarantee compliance with a standard or technical document unless a feature expressly and reliably states otherwise.

4. User account

An account, created with an email and password or via Google, allows projects to be synchronized and retrieved. Users are responsible for the confidentiality of their password and the security of their Google account.

Users may request deletion of their account and related projects. Without an account, projects remain stored only in their browser.

5. Paid plans

Some features require payment. Displayed prices include applicable taxes and are confirmed before secure payment through Stripe.

Premium is a one-time purchase with lifetime access and up to three cloud projects. Pro is a monthly subscription, cancellable through the billing portal, with unlimited cloud projects.

Where permitted by law, immediate access to digital content may begin after the customer expressly agrees and acknowledges the corresponding loss of the withdrawal right.

6. Intellectual property

The service, interface, copy and calculation engine remain the publisher’s property and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

Projects and exported plans created by users belong to them. The publisher claims no rights over them and uses them only to provide the service.

7. Availability and liability

Reasonable measures are used to keep the service available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation during maintenance or provider failures.

The publisher is not liable for damage caused by incorrect input, misinterpretation of results or installation that does not follow professional practice.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service or regulations evolve. The applicable version is the one published when the service is used.

Material changes will be communicated to account holders through an appropriate channel.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. An amicable resolution will be sought before legal proceedings.

Consumers may use an eligible consumer mediator and any applicable online dispute-resolution mechanism.
